I had the pleasure of experiencing a plant medicine retreat with Ma in Peru in 2023. It was an incredibly healing and supportive experience. Her knowledge of plant medicine and her connection to authentic shamans and healers is exactly what someone looks for in a guide. I have previously traveled to the Amazon jungle, so I can say that the retreat center that Ma is associated with is absolutely comfortable and beautiful. During my stay, I felt nourished in body and mind and felt very safe. The shamans there are top notch at their healing craft.
Ma’s approach to the medicine is full of integrity. It is clear that her path in life and her many years dedicated to the plants have resulted in an expansive breadth of knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of the shamanic plant realms. She is a beautiful and solid energetic presence while holding healing space in these realms. Ma’s approach is full of sacredness and respect to her amazing and respected Shipibo teachers and the plants.
